When considering foot balance it is important to know how the hoof may impact limb function. If the feet are imbalanced it will impact everything from joint alignment, to stride, stability and eventually soundness.

Just like wheel alignment for a car,  it can be subtle at first and over time you may notice the car pulling to one side and wear and tear and efficiencies become noticed.

Same with your horse too, it may only be subtle, but over time imbalance related issues can start to occur. The good news is just like your car this can be fixed. Foot balance X-rays provide an accurate, inside view of your horse's hoof structure, helping farriers with trimming and shoeing your horse.

With a good working relationship between your farrier and your vet a 'one horse one team' ethos, your horses feet can become balanced. Helping to correct, and stabilize any in balance and making their going far more comfortable.
