We are launching a Winter Health Check Special Offer (discounted by 40% off our normal fees) this is available for ambulatory visits where our team of vets can come to you and admittance to the hospital for our team of medicine diplomats.

Ideal for horses or ponies over the age of 15 years to ensure good health and well being, or for any horse or pony after a summer of activities.

  • Consultation & Examination - full clinical examination to include eye, heart and respiration
  • Discussion of body condition, weight and diet/nutrition
  • Dynamic examination in hand, including trot up, for any signs of lameness or mobility issues
  • Dental/oral examination - sedate and rasp if required*
  • Blood sample for biochemistry to check liver and kidneys and to include ACTH * As part of the care about Cushing scheme (age related and if not already part of the scheme)
  • W.E.C. and current worming advice discussion
  • Discuss current health or concerns
  • Access to weigh bridge, if at hospital, and our medicine diplomat specialists
